Our comprehensive two-day Basic Injectables Training course (Neuromodulators & Dermal Fillers) allows healthcare practitioners to gain the theory knowledge, maneuver through the ins and outs of anatomy, learn about potential complications and how to address them and gain hands-on practice with real models.

This course is designed to effectively develop the knowledge, experience and confidence needed, at any level, to implement these techniques in attendee’s own practices. Course sizes are small, with a maximum of 4 participants to optimize hands-on practice and ensure that the content is appropriately absorbed. This course is for those with none-to-limited experience in injectables. The core focuses of the Basic Injectables Training Course are Neuromodulators (Botox®) and dermal filler in the lips.

Foundation Injectable Course

June 8th & 9th

Day 1: Neuromodulator Training

  • Review of the appropriate FDA and Health Canada approved products available. Learn reconstitution ratios of each product on the market and attended uses.
  • Anatomy and physiology of the face
  • Mapping and dosing for males and females
  • Complications and risks
  • Adequate consultation and documentation
  • Hands-on practice with live models for various treatment areas of Neuromodulators

Day 2: Lip Training

  • Review of FDA and Health Canada approved products available on the market
  • Anatomy and physiology of the lips
  • Assessment of lips
  • Complications and risks
  • Adequate Consultation and documentation
  • Hands-on practice with live models for lip treatment

Course led by Leah McFadden, RPN – Owner and Nurse Injector of Revel Medical Beauty Club. Dermal Filler portion taught by Yolanta Van Arden, Stylage Canada Nurse Educator. Training is overseen by Kelly Ross, NP.

This course is open to medical professionals only, including nurses, practical nurses, physicians, and dentists who want to expand their knowledge and skills in administering cosmetic injectables.
